The English-taught Bachelor of Arts in Global Business and Entrepreneurship (180 ECTS) is an exciting and unique programme that prepares students to become successful managers and entrepreneurs. Students learn how to handle and deal with the variety of challenges stemming from an ever-changing international business environment.
Students are offered the opportunity to embark on a truly international and practical learning experience. Embedded in a global community they gain first-hand experience by exploring different global business environments, internships, study abroad programmes, and interactive courses.
Students graduating from our Business Studies programme possess a solid foundation in the functional areas of globally operating companies. The programme prepares students not only for prestigious management positions, but also for leadership responsibilities. Careers of our recent graduates include: investment banking, sales, trade, business development, online marketing and consulting. Many of our students have used Vesalius College’s extensive academic network in Brussels and abroad to pursue a master’s degree in a wide range of fields (management, business, banking & finance, economics, trade, etc.) in prestigious universities, including Solvay Business School, the University of Saint Andrews, London School of Economics, IE Business School, Bocconi University, Boston University and many others.
This BA in Global Business & Entrepreneurship is a programme of which the degree will be awarded by Vesalius College. Vesalius College is part of the Brussels School of Governance, an alliance with the Institute for European Studies, established in February 2021.
To complete this Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 180 ECTS (credits or study points) is required. Most students complete the intense and rigorous study programme within 3 years of admission. The programme also requires the writing of a BA thesis.
The Brussels School of Governance (BSoG) is an alliance between the Institute for European Studies (°2002) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Vesalius College (°1987). For decades, both institutions have built up strong reputations as frontrunners in education, research, and academic services on the international scene. Both being associated with Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), one of Belgium’s prime universities with a strong internationalisation focus, the IES and VeCo decided to work together more closely as of 2018. In 2021, they launched the Brussels School of Governance.
