The mission of the BSc Management, Decisions, and Data Analytics (MDDA) program is to equip students for professional roles in a globalized world where deriving value from vast amounts of data is crucial.
In today's environment, companies of all sizes, from innovative start-ups to large multinational enterprises, access numerous data sources and face immense pressure to leverage this data for both operational and strategic decision-making. To thrive, managers must not only possess strong managerial skills but also extend their expertise to fields like machine learning and data analytics.
Ultimately, creating value from data requires a deep understanding of how human behavior, as captured in data, influences decision-making. The MDDA program is tailored for young scholars worldwide who are interested in business, management, and entrepreneurship within a data-driven framework.
This program prepares students to tackle management and business challenges by employing methods such as machine learning, big data analytics, and data visualization in decision-making processes. It focuses on developing key managerial and methodological skills necessary for the next generation of professionals in the era of digital transformation.
The three-year BSc program is built around three main pillars:
In the first year, students will lay the groundwork for these three pillars. The second year will focus on business courses related to digital transformation and entrepreneurship. During the Decision Making segment, students will deepen their understanding of decision-making processes at both individual and organizational levels. Additionally, the second year's latter part will cover data analytics and machine learning. In the third year, specialized courses will integrate the three pillars holistically, concentrating on topics such as the use of data in marketing.
The undergraduate program at Constructor University spans three years and awards 180 credit points, equipping students for diverse career opportunities.
Central to the program is the “4C Model,” which organizes disciplinary content into three themes aligned with each academic year: CHOICE, CORE, and CAREER. Alongside this, the “CONSTRUCTOR Track” runs concurrently, offering multidisciplinary content and vital skills in areas like argumentation, data visualization, societal engagement, and communication.
This curriculum is designed for flexibility, allowing students to customize their education to align with their career aspirations and explore various fields of study. Students also have the option to switch their major within the first year. Additionally, the program includes a mandatory internship and a study-abroad experience during the fifth semester, ensuring students gain practical experience and a global outlook.
The BSc Management, Decisions, and Data Analytics program addresses the growing demand for managers who can understand and utilize data in a business context.
By blending business, technology, and methodology, this program equips students with a competitive edge, preparing them for future-oriented careers in global companies or innovative start-ups. Additionally, it provides a solid foundation for further studies at international graduate schools.
