GL specialises in training future legal experts who excel in global and cross-border settings, such as multinational corporations, NGOS, and European and international institutions.

Throughout their academic journey, students will be immersed in a highly stimulating environment in which their enquiry-based learning experience will be nurtured not only by lectures with top academics but also by testimonials from highly reputed professionals, mainly from the network of Luiss Alumni, laboratories, project works, simulations and legal clinics that will culminate in a “Grand Challenge”.

Highly interdisciplinary, the Programme provides a strong foundation in the legal field while also developing a deep understanding of economics, management, and technological innovation. The curriculum is further enriched by a Humanities course of the student’s choosing. In the third year, students have the option to specialise in two areas: Global Law and Tech, or Global Law and Business. There is also a third choice in Italian Law, which provides access to the final two years of the traditional Italian legal studies degree programme.

The Global Law programme equips graduates to work in international law firms, multinational corporations, governmental and non-profit organizations with a global reach.

Upon graduation, students will be fully prepared to apply for the following job positions:

• Junior roles such as Legal Analyst or Paralegal in international law firms and multinational corporations.
• International Law Consultancy, providing advice on matters of global law, international relations, and global governance.
• Involvement in entrepreneurial activities with a focus on international legal aspects.
• Policy Analyst or legal advisor roles in international institutions, government organizations, and NGOs.
• Progress to higher academic qualifications (master’s degree or postgraduate diploma in International Law, Human Rights, Global Corporate Law).
