Interdisciplinarity is a major feature of our Doctoral School, as almost all sub-disciplines of Health Sciences are represented within the eligible research areas.
Our mission is to provide support to our students in their research field assisting them with their scientific work, publishing novel results, international dissemination and getting acquainted with the most recent protocols and methods. The school motivates PhD students to take part in national and international project applications. Through our international contacts we give our PhD students opportunity for mobility and to gain experience abroad and to expand their scientific contacts.
The PhD students are involved in the scientific research of the supervisors and scientific members of the Doctoral School. The research topics are continuously being expanded due to the new results achieved by the PhD students. These novel results will be integrated into the research topics."

Graduation Requirements: Students must achieve 180 credits from different modules, and fullfill the publication requirements covering the area of dissertation, pass the Doctoral Examination, prepare the PhD dissertation and defend it.
